Condition Monitoring Services

Productivity Development Solutions has over 15 years experience working in Materials Handling. This experience and our use of the latest technology ensures we provide new and advanced approaches to problem solving for our customers. Our extensive experience in conveyor inspections, design of (commercially available) inspections reporting tools, wide exposure across a number of industries (hard rock, iron ore, bauxite and coal) and work developing maintenance strategies means we have the knowledge to identify poor plant condition and report clearly and concisely.

Equipment Strategy Development

PDS has developed methodologies and techniques to conduct PM Strategy and Maintenance Plan reviews. Through the use of Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) principles, we have identified hidden failures and failure root causes that previous systems have overlooked. The outcomes are scheduled routine maintenance job tasks by frequency and labour type that support Business Workflow practices (scheduling & resource management) and provide a traceable strategy that can be maintained and kept 'current' for the life of the asset.

Plant Audit Studies

PDS has facilitated and participated in a number of plant audits designed to assess the throughput capability of materials handling plants. Through a process of design review, delay analysis, condition assessment and process review we can develop a detailed understanding of the operational and functional bottlenecks that contribute to unplanned downtime. Through these assessments we have helped our customers to develop short and long term action plans and scope detailed upgrade feasibility reports.

Delay Analysis / Reporting

Our delay analysis / delay reporting services are specific to our customer requirements and provide adhoc reporting using Microsoft Excel or SQL Reporting Services. PDS can provide services from the conduct of adhoc delay analysis to the design and development of complex data warehousing and custom automated delay reporting. We have provided adhoc and permanent delay reporting solutions to OneSteel Newcastle and have designed KPI production reporting solutions as part of plant audits at Esperance Port and OneSteel Whyalla.
